David Domanski, LAMFT
I graduated in February 2025 with a Master’s in Marriage and Family therapy. Despite the name, I do see individuals in therapy. I typically use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, or Family Systems Theory.
I am curious about the ways people think and feel and enjoy exploring these internal processes (and the effects they have on our external world). Sometimes we need someone to help us find balance between reasoning and emotions, because problems arose when we acted on only one or the other. My ideal client wants something to change and problems to be resolved, even if they do not know exactly how to achieve that or why therapy will help. My goal is to help you find that balance so you can live a productive life while enjoying the presence of others.
The journey of therapy can be complex. Often clients come with one set of issues and realize, in the process of therapy, there are others. For that reason I try to go out of my way to make the task of starting therapy simple and easy to understand. I will be a steady source of support throughout that process, learning and changing with you.
In my spare time I enjoy playing board games with my wife and going on hikes. I also enjoy woodworking, especially working with others to solve problems with projects in creative ways and teaching others new skills.
