Integrative Mental Health

Integrative mental health addresses mental/emotional issues from a holistic perspective.

The mental health issues we struggle with often have physical or spiritual components as well. All of these issues respond well to changes in how we treat our bodies and our relationships with others and with God.

By looking at the whole person in their whole context, greater and more effective long term healing and growth is possible.

Suggestions from an integrative perspective might include specific supplements or herbs, dietary changes, particular exercises, somatic (body) therapies such as massage or chiropractic care, and meditation. Particular therapies are always suggested based on your unique needs, context, and comfort level.

Some of the integrative therapies we currently provide:

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping)
  • Nutrition for mental health
  • Health coaching
  • Spiritual direction
