There are days when it feels like you are just trying to stay afloat, like something beneath the surface is quietly pulling you under. You may be carrying thoughts, patterns, and emotions your mind learned to hold onto, even though they are no longer helping you. You find yourself longing for connection, wondering how things became this heavy, this overwhelming. At times, it can feel like you are holding onto weight that was never yours to carry in the first place.
The truth is, you can learn to move through life with more ease again. The fact that you have kept going despite how hard it has been speaks to your strength and resilience. Support is here when you are ready for it, and you deserve a space where you can feel understood and not so alone.
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor working toward full clinical licensure. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College in December 2024, after completing my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State University in 2019. I also bring extensive experience in the child welfare field and pediatric research, which has shaped my understanding of resilience, trauma, and the impact of early experiences. I believe in approaching mental health from a holistic perspective because our mind, body, and spirit are deeply interconnected.
My areas of interest include depression, women’s issues, trauma, and bipolar disorder.
Outside of my work, I enjoy a good cup of coffee, prioritizing my health and wellness, spending time with my sweet and snuggly cats, and unwinding with Law and Order: SVU.
